About Dalia Levy
A Little Bit About Me
This website will include information about Ms. Levy's teaching schedule, rates, bio, and more! Ms. Levy has been playing cello for over 10 years. She was a member of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and is an avid chamber musician, performing in the Bay Area regularly. She is currently studying cello performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in San Francisco, California. She also maintains a private studio where she teaches young kids in Sunnyvale and San Francisco, California. She taught students at Scherzo Music School in San Mateo over summer 2025 and is currently a teacher at Opus 11 School of Music in Santa Clara, California. Find out more under the bio page.
Teaching Philosophy
A strong foundation which includes scales, etudes, and Bach suites are essential in my teaching. All of the students also use Suzuki books starting with the first level to develop a good foundation. It brings me immense joy to witness a student blossom into a young cellist who has a passion for music and the cello. All students and all ages are accepted in my studio. Ms. Levy teaches the student from scratch starting with the basics and enjoys the process of teaching the student to appreciate what music has to offer to all of us!
